Total OOP here was $20.50. I thought it was good for all I got. Loved the $.49 dog food! LOL Also really loved the super cheap boxes of chocolates, and they are pretty good sized boxes too. :) I also gave a woman that was shopping here two coupons for stuff in her cart, dog food and the Swanson stock cartons. She looked at me funny at first, but accepted and was truly thankful. Then I ended up being in checkout behind her and the cashier tried to refuse the dog food coupon and she was going to take it back, but I piped up and told them to check the description and they ended up putting it through.

Total items - 46
AdvantEdge savings - $29.05
Coupon savings - $23.80
Total savings - $52.85

Total OOP - $49.94

WOOT! My savings is higher than what I actually spent! Too funny! I was again the coupon fairy here, as well as spreading cheer to one of my favorite employees there. I was standing in the frozen aisle when two women came by price cheking and comparing chicken nuggets for their kids, and one said to go look in the meat case for the Price Chopper brand ones on the trays. I piped up and said that the Tyson Anytizer chicken dippers were really good, that my DD loves them, and I had coupons for them if it would help. So we chatted for a while, I explained a bit about couponing, and I gave them two coupons for the chicken, a couple others for items in their cart, and the website address for weusecoupons.com! LOL They were very thankful for all my help and were amazed at how far off their perceptions of couponing were. Then I trotted off to finish my shopping. In the dairy aisle I finally saw the employee I had been searching for. This lovely woman that I see just about every Saturday that is so nice, kind, helpful, and is ALWAYS smiling and talking to people, she really stood out as an outstanding employee. So as she buzzed by to put something away, we exchanged hellos as usual, then I told her I had something for her. Grabbed my coupon bag and dug out that star thing from the center of the Price Chopper magazines for customers to give to employees that make their shopping experience wonderful, and gave it to her and thanked her for being such a sweet and helpful person. She gave me a big hug and wished me happy holidays. I left there feeling so good! :D

Grand Union:
Hood egg nog - $2.99 X2
used $1/2 (ND)
total - $2.49 ea

Hormel pepperoni slices - 2/$6
used $1/2 doubled
total - $2 ea

Heluva Good block cheese - $1.88 X4
used $.50/1 X2 (ND)
used $1/2 (ND)
total - $1.38 ea

Best Yet milk gal - $1.99 X3

Total OOP here was $21.27. I originally went for just the deal on the milk and cheese, but had to grab the pepperoni for Hubby and the egg nog for me! hehe

That's it for this week, won't be shopping next Saturday, it being Christmas and all... ;) Unless I see some amazing deals I can't pass up in this weeks flyer and I have to buzz over during the week this week, I won't be shopping again until Sunday after Christmas. Happy Holidays everyone!
