My Shopping Trip 11/20/10

Whew! Whirlwind of shopping today. Hit 4 stores total, deals at some, not at others. Decided to pick up all my Christmas baking stuff now as there are sales on and coupons out. So spent a little more than usual, but other than shopping for DD and hubby, all Christmas shopping is done! Yay!! Here's the rundown of each:

No coupon deals here this trip, diapers for DD and a few other things we needed at the house that I knew were better priced here. Total OOP here was $31.56.

Loved getting the free potatoes, wasn't thrilled with paying for butter but still a good price, and great deals on the baking stuff as well as other items!

Not bad at all! Definitely more OOP than usual, but like I said, this will cover pretty much ALL our family and friends for Christmas, so I'm not complaining! Also restocked the pantry a bit for our own use. $10 shy of 50% savings, I'm good with that! :)

Grand Union:
Pretty much just stopped here to hit the liquor store, but they had a sale on the Dole fruit bites for $2.99 ea. I got 3 and used 3 $1/1 that were doubled, so I got the fruit bites for $.99 ea. DD loves these, so I try to grab them when they are cheap.

All in all not a bad week. Super happy to have gotten all the baking stuff bought and ready to go. That will take a little pressure off as we get closer to the holidays. Sure, I spent a bit more, but I FILLED the back of the car, and then some. Ready to start baking!! LOL
