How do I obtain game tickets?
There are three (3) ways to obtain Game Tickets:
1)Receive one (1) Game Ticket with each qualifying* transaction you make between November 4, 2011 through February 9, 2012, while Game Ticket supplies last, at participating Shaw’s® Supermarket and Star Market® stores in the states of Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont.
2)Receive one (1) Bonus Game Ticket for each participating Bonus Ticket item purchased at a participating Shaw’s® Supermarket or Star Market® store with your Shaw’s Rewards Card®, while game ticket supplies last.
3)Receive one (1) Game Ticket and one (1) Bonus Game Ticket by mail without purchase (while Game Ticket supplies last) by sending a hand-written, self-addressed, stamped return envelope to:

Mail-in requests, including both outer envelope and self-addressed, stamped, return envelope, must be hand-printed, postmarked no sooner than November 4, 2011, and no later than February 9, 2012, and received no later than February 16, 2012.
Limit one (1) request per properly stamped envelope.
*Qualifying transactions exclude purchases of money orders, wire transfers, bill pay services, lottery tickets, Shaw’s branded gift certificates/gift cards, postage stamps, transportation tokens, alcohol, tobacco, fluid dairy products (where prohibited by law), fuel and convenience store purchases and products/services offered as a convenience to Shaw’s/Star Market customers.
How do I play the game?
Pick up a free Official Game Board from any participating Shaw’s/Star Market store. Once you have a Game Ticket, open it and inside, find one (1) of the following: a coupon good for cents off a product; a coupon good for an instant winner/free product; or a coupon good for two (2) free Game Tickets to be awarded in-store, while supplies last.
Also inside are four (4) Official Game Markers, designed to be affixed to the Official Game Board, or Sweepstakes Markers which may be mailed in for entry into the Sweepstakes.
Place the Game Markers on the matching game play areas on the Official Game Board.
How do I win?
If you receive an “Instant Win” coupon, simply bring it to a participating Shaw’s/Star Market store to redeem.
To win prizes printed on the Official Game Board, collect all of the Game Markers printed under a prize, and win that prize (subject to verification). Please do not tape or glue your Game Markers to your Game Board, but moisten as indicated on the Game Ticket.
For a chance to win the Shopping Spree Sweepstakes prize, submit unique Sweepstakes Markers in accordance with the instructions below to be included in the Shaw’s® Shopping Spree Sweepstakes drawings.
How do I enter the $1,000 Shaw’s® Shopping Spree Sweepstakes?
To be entered into a random drawing for a chance to win one (1) of twenty-eight (28) $1,000 Shaw’s® Shopping Sprees, collect sweepstakes game markers sm01 and sm02, and affix original game markers to a 3” x 5” card. Hand-print your full name, address, phone number, age, and then sign your full name on the card. Place card in a hand addressed properly stamped envelope and mail to:

Entries into sweepstakes must be postmarked no later than February 23, 2012, and received by March 1, 2012.
Sweepstakes entries will be eligible for all drawings held after receipt of entry. Random drawings for the sweepstakes will occur on November 18, and 25, December 2, 9, 16, 23, and 30, 2011, and January 6, 13, 20, and 27, February 3, and 10, and March 2, 2012.
Two (2) winners will be selected in each drawing.
Winners will receive the $1,000 Shopping Spree in the form of Shaw’s® Gift Cards once an Official Prize Winner Form has been completed and received and person’s eligibility has been determined.
What do I do when I collect all the markers needed for a prize?
Take your Game Board and Game Markers to the Customer Service Counter at any participating Shaw’s/Star Market store. Store personnel will advise as to next steps.
What is the deadline for turning in potential winning entries?
All prizes (except final Sweepstakes drawing prizes) must be properly claimed by February 23, 2012, or they will be forfeited. Unclaimed prizes will not be awarded.
What do I do if I didn’t receive my Game Tickets at check out?
Please contact your local Shaw’s/Star Market, and speak to the Store Director. We will validate through our internal checks if game tickets should be awarded. If you were awarded game tickets, your receipt will reflect the quantity of game tickets that were distributed.
What if I lose my Game Board or my Game Tickets or Game Markers?
Game Tickets and Game Markers cannot be replaced if lost or damaged, however, you may start a new Game Board at anytime during the promotion, while supplies last.
When will my prize be awarded if I have won? Who will contact me if I win?
Prizes valued at $20 or less, instant win product, or free Game Ticket prizes will be awarded in store; submissions for prizes over $20 in value must be validated by the official judging agency. After the validation process has been completed, you will be contacted by the Store Director.
How will I learn about prize winners?
We’ll be highlighting select winners via our weekly ad, via signs in our participating Shaw’s/Star Market stores, and via the Shaw’s Facebook page.
After the promotion is over and properly claimed prizes have been awarded (including the Sweepstakes prizes), a list of Major Prize winners with $600 value or greater may be obtained by mail. See Official Rules for details. Requests for the winner’s list must be received by March 12, 2012.
